Green or purple grapes, one liter (5 cups of alcohol), 150 grams (¾ cups of sugar)

For this preparation, use good-quality grapes, ripened to the right point, firm, and that the grapes are big. Cut off, with a scissor, the grapes from the rasps, leaving a bit of the stems on each grape. Clean each grape, one at a time, with a wet cloth (this step isn’t necessary if you use organic grapes) and then delicately place them in jars; as you fill the jars, gently shake them so that the grapes fall into place. Pour in the alcohol and fill the jar past the last layer of grapes of at least half an inch. Add the sugar and firmly close the jar.
